Dabbawalas on Deal Ya No Deal |
Sony Entertainment's popular
game show 'Deal Ya No Deal' has become popular amongst the viewers and now
after the entry of the gorgeous-sexy lass Mandira Bedi, the show has become
all the more enticing.
The program has witnessed people from all walks of life, from celebs to
traffic police to coolies. Now a unique concept is going to be introduced on
the show and that is Mumbai's Dabbawalas who will be playing the game of
money on Deal Ya No Deal. 5000 semi-literate 'Dabbawalas' transport
1,75,000-boxes in a 3-hours period, through public transportation involving
multiple transfer points at six-sigma level of quality! Doesn't it seem
interesting? This surely will surprise you because the organization involved
is a labour intensive company called Nutan Mumbai Tiffin Box Suppliers
Association popularly known as 'Mumbai Dabbawala'.
Interestingly these Dabbawalas have impressed Prince Charles of UK with
their innocence and commitment to work. This time they are geared up to
please the Indian viewers on Deal Ya No Deal.
Sudhir Dabbawala on this Friday, 24th February will be playing India's
easiest game show as the other 22 Dabbawalas enjoy the fun and thrill of the
game. Watch Deal Ya No Deal on Friday, 24th February at 9 p.m. only on Sony
